Still life, by nature, allows me full control over lighting, composition, and subject. I use this control to emphasize texture, age, and the stories embedded in objects like rusted tools, native flora, sun-bleached bones, and weather-worn containers. These aren’t just still objects—they’re visual echoes of lives lived close to the land.

With a realist’s eye and deep respect for form, I aim to capture both the physical truth and quiet poetry in these scenes. Each piece invites the viewer to slow down and consider the significance of what’s left behind—and what it still has to say.
